Part Time Daily Child & Dog-Friendly Housekeeper-Cook required by a busy family to make life run smoothly. To be responsible for cleaning, all family laundry & ironing, healthy family cooking, driving (auto) one child to ballet lessons etc. and some school pick-ups. Must be happy to do occasional motorway driving M40 to pick up the elder daughter from boarding school. Must have good spoken English and be a confident driver. When popping to the local shops happy to take the dog out for a walk (a dog walker also employed). The key to this role is a muck-in approach. The family live in a 4-storey house with lots of stairs so the Housekeeper needs to be energetic.

Your Key Responsibilities may include -

Act as Room Leader and to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Ensure your staff team provide high standards of care for the children.
Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate records.
Ensure that your staff team are always aware of each child’s individual needs and that all children are kept safe and that the staff understand, and follow Child Protection Procedures.
Support the staff and supervise the staff with their day to day duties.
Be responsible for participating in all self-development activities including appraisals and supervisions.
Meet with the manager on a regular basis and report on individual children and staff
Meet with parents
Interview new staff with the manager

Two/Three Day a Week Nanny

Two/Three day a week nanny to start in May/June 2011

The family is based in Finsbury Park, they are looking for a two or three day a week nanny to start later in the year, it would be to take sole charge of two children a 1 year old who is the main charge and a 3 year old who is at nursery. The working hours would be 8am – 6pm, they are flexible as to the day expect the nanny will not be required on a Wednesday.

They do not require a driver, however they are looking for an experience nanny.

Family Support Worker – Wirral

I currently have a vacancy for a Family Support Worker with Children’s and Families experience to join a dynamic and friendly team in Wirral.

You will preferably have NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an appropriate field, Social Work, Youth and Community Work or other relevant qualification in an appropriate area.

Working within a local authority in Wirral you would become part of a medium sized team within the Children and Families department. The role operates Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm, however does offer flexibility should you require.

Your key responsibilities will include to engage with children under 5 years of age and their families within a catchment area, making an assessment of their needs and provide early intervention family support where needed, linking seamlessly to specialist and targeted services, to work directly with children and their families in the community within their homes and at the centre venue in order to promote, strengthen and develop the potential of parents, and to develop a programme of inclusive activities, including individual sessions and group work with families, to address the five outcomes outlined in Every Child Matters agenda and ensure that needs are met.
