Nursery Manager

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced nursery manager who has experience of managing a dynamic setting.

You will have excellent experience of managing a large staff team with the ability to lead and inspire staff of all levels.

You will have a proven track record in having strong working partnership with the parents at your last or current setting. The suitable person for the role will be expected to roll out strong parent partnership initiatives at the nursery with a focus on providing uncompromising customer services an satisfaction.

You will be responsible for the smooth running of the nursery, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • To Achieve and maintain high standards of care
  • To Effectively lead and manage the staff team, manage staff recruitment and retention
  • To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable
  • To ensure all policies are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To Implement an effective parent liaison program

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • 3 years’ post-qualification experience and 2 years’ relevant supervisory experience
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Knowledge of OFSTED standards
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a staff team
  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities

FT Nanny/Housekeeper Clapham Junction SW11 School Age

Daily Nanny

Battersea, SW11: Sole charge nanny for one baby (will be 4 months old at start of the position), both parents work full time in the city. Day off can be flexible if wanted as grandparents would have the baby then. Ofsted registered or willing to register with current First Aid certificate and a clean CRB check. Guaranteed 40 hours per week minimum with some flexibility, £400+ net per week (on exp.) End November 2011 start!

Sole charge nanny is needed for a baby due at the end of July 2011 – to start when baby is 4 months old as both parents will then be working full time in the city. As grandparents will look after the baby one day per week and can be flexible on this day, the nanny has a choice of the day off between Monday – Friday. Normal hours would be 8am – 6.30/7pm however some flexibility is needed (there will be guaranteed minimum amount of hours each week though). The family is looking for a highly experienced nanny who is willing to register with Ofsted (must have an up to date paediatric First Aid Certificate and a clean CRB check), is developmentally focused with warm and above all extremely trustworthy personality! Excellent English is required. The family is starting interviews now as they would like to have the right person secured as soon as possible.
