This is a private day care setting that holds up to 122 places within the setting within the age range of 3 months to 5 years.

Part-time Cook/Babysitter

Notting Hill Gate, W8: Part time live out cook/babysitter is needed for a family with 5 years old twin girls. No cleaning, only cooking and some childcare. Approx. 15-20 hours per week, ideally spread over 3 afternoons per week and some weekends (flexible hours, late afternoons/evenings would be the best). Start asap, £13-15 hpw

Part time live out child friendly cook is needed for a family that has recently relocated to London from the UK. They have 5 ½ year old twin girls who are fairly independent already but this person will need to be happy to do some childcare as well as to cook family meals for two adults and two children – this does not have to be anything too fancy, just the usual healthy meals (mum is happy to work out the weekly menu to be followed but is also happy for the person to come up with own ideas). This would suit a young culinary student or chef who is looking for extra evening job but they are also happy to consider an unqualified cook who has done this type of role before. Nanny experience is not essential – the right personality and attitude is more important! CRB will be required. Ideally they would like to have 15-20 hours per week spread over 3 afternoons between Monday – Friday and couple of hours during the weekend as well if possible. Interviews now with ASAP start!

The Operations Director must provide strong leadership skills so that all are clear about what is expected of them and to create a momentum to realise the goals and targets for the portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for

  • Leading and managing a diverse staff team
  • Customer services – Customer relations & satisfaction, customer attraction and retention
  • Business management – To ensure all nurseries within your portfolio achieve financial targets, manage operating costs and ensure viability and profitability

The successful person for the role will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • The job holder must be experienced to effectively manage the financial and commercial aspects of a multi site business.
  • Must have relevant management experience in a customer related business and a sound knowledge of the national standards for day care. The job holder will also be required to have a sound knowledge of the children’s act.
  • The job holder must be PC literate
  • Must have a clean driving license as the job holder will be operating in a mobile environment.
  • The job holder must have strong management and leadership skills and the ability to prioritise a demanding workload in a dynamic and growing business.
  • Good financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets across a multi site business
  • Good numerical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse monthly management information including sales and occupancy targets
  • Must have people management experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
