We are currently looking to recruit a Room Leader to join the team at our West Dorking Day Nursery in Surrey. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team with proven experience supervising a room.

A Level 3 qualification or equivalent is essential along with experience running a room within a nursery and/or creche setting. The position will be based in the baby room so experience with this age group would be an advantage.

This is a great opportunity to develop, learn new skills and become part of a dynamic childcare centred team.

The position is a full time 40 hour shift a week, working between the hours of 7.30am – 6.30pm.

This would be the right role for someone who is looking to take the next step up to management. The ideal person will be a confident room leader, highly motivated, organised, have the ability to delegate to team members, have knowledge and understanding of EYFS, plan effectively for individual key children, complete all paperwork required, adhere to policies and procedures and maintain standards to meet with the requirements.

If you feel you have the communication skills and confidence required to manage a busy room and Nursery and ensure high quality childcare standards are met, this is the type of role for you.
