Deputy Nursery Manager

A fantastic deputy managers role with this medium size organisation which is looking for a candidate who is able to make a long term commitment.

This role requires a deputy manager who has excellent staff management skills with an ability to motivate and support staff to raise standards across the nursery.

You will be someone who has a proven track record within the role of a deputy or room leader.

You will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the nursery, some of your responsibilities will include supporting the nursery manager to deliver the below :

  • To Achieve and maintain high standards of care
  • To Effectively lead and manage the staff team, manage staff recruitment and retention
  • To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable
  • To ensure all policies are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To Implement an effective parent liaison program

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • 3 years’ post-qualification experience and 2 years’ relevant supervisory experience
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Knowledge of OFSTED standards
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a staff team
  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities

Daily Nanny Housekeeper

Daily Nanny/Housekeeper required in Highgate/Dartmouth Park area, NW5 – very close to Hampstead Heath.

Sole charge of 3 children – B 8yrs and Twin Girls aged 4yrs (at FT Nursery).

Both parents work full time.

Hours are Mon to Fri 8am to 7pm, but flexible on times between 9-3.30 in term-time when children are in school.

Must have both relevant childcare and housekeeping experience.

You will need to be extremely well organised, efficient, tidy and PC Literate for weekly online shop etc.

Duties include school run (2 min walk); nursery duties; laundry and ironing for the family; cooking nutritious evening meal; helping with homework; organising playdates activities etc; occasional evening babysitting; keeping house tidy and organised; managing house maintenance and managing twice-weekly cleaner.

Candidates must be fluent in English, have at least 3 years experience in childcare, have an uptodate First aid certificate & CRB. Must be an EU passport holder and willing to travel if required (this would be very limited).

Live-in Nanny is Required in North London, East Finchley

Live in nanny needed for 4 yr old twins boy and girl. The nanny will start at 7:15 am to get the children ready and drive them to school. An automatic car will be provided for the nanny. There is down time during the day they are in school but you might be asked to run some errands and also light house work is included. The family has a cleaner as well. Then they need help to pick up the children from school, take them home and help with home work and cook for them. If the children are sick the nanny will be asked to care for them at home. The role will be full time during school holidays. The children are lovely, the boy is very outgoing and charming and the girl is far quieter but confident and outgoing when comfortable. They both play very well together and are extremely happy and quite biddable. The parents are both professionals working in the financial services sector in London. They are an easy going relaxed couple looking for someone who can provide a relaxed, stimulating learning environment for their children.
The girl has a speech delay and goes to a speech therapist but nanny needs to have good English as she will listen and learn a lot from the nanny. Total hours – 45 hours. Accommodation: Freshly decorated modern en-suite bedroom with Network and TV points, within 5 minutes walk of East Finchley underground station. The nanny will finish at 7:30pm when children are in bed. The role is Mon-Fri plus 2 nights of babysitting, one on the weekend.

You will work very closely with the Nursery Manager, providing support in all areas of the running of the Nursery, with a strong focus on promoting the setting to local parents.
