Westminster CofE Primary School is experiencing a very exciting period of growth and development supported by a very welcoming, committed and enthusiastic team of teachers and support staff.

We wish to appoint two SEN Learning Support Assistants (Level 2) to join our school. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they are committed to supporting our school in raising standards of attainment and achievement and have the skills and ability to support all children.

Key responsibilities include:

. Taking responsibility for the learning environment, learning programme and individual resources for pupils with Special Education Needs
. To encourage the inclusion and integration of pupils with SEN
. Supporting teachers in delivering a personalised curriculum and provision plan for students

• Maintaining records outlining the pupils’ progress towards their individual education targets

All candidates must have good Literacy and Numeracy skills and have the ability to work well as part of a team. Within this role you may be expected to support children over lunchtime and playtime periods therefore a level of flexibility is required.

These posts will be appointed initially on a 1 year contract basis, however due to our school’s growth, there may be an opportunity to become a permanent member of staff.
