Live-in Sole Charge Professional Nanny

A professional family with 3 children; boy 2 yrs old, girl 7 yrs and boy 9 yrs old seeking a mature, professional live-in Nanny.

Both parents have demanding job roles and need a reliable, responsible Nanny with very good communication/organisational skills.

The family offer a comfortable double bedroom with en-suite, TV, DVD and Wi-Fi on separate level.

Days/hours of work: Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm and Saturdays from 7am to 12noon.

Both older children are in full time education and attend a school in Barnes. The younger child will in the near future start nursery part time. The Nanny needs to drive the children to and from school, organise stimulating activities for the younger child, organise all the children’s social, school and holiday diaries to ensure that they have a balanced day. Ensure all school homework is done and communicate regularly with school teachers. Carry out all nursery duties and prepare family healthy meals.

The family have a regular cleaner. No pets. No travelling with family.

Requirements: Mature, ideally 30 yrs +. Excellent English if not first language. 5 yrs UK experience in similar job roles. Excellent organisational skills. Confident, positive attitude, healthy. Confident family cook. Checkable references and CRB or willing. Someone who has a genuine interest in children’s education and development, ability to support school homework. Full clean UK driving licence – car provided.

Community Nursery Nurse

Community Nursery Nurse Coalville, Leicestershire 18.5 hours per week to start ASAP. Do you want to be part of a team that will bring quality integrated Children’s Centre Services to children and families in our local communities? As a Children’s Centre Outreach Worker you will work closely with all partners (Health Visitors, parents, staff and a wide range of voluntary and statutory providers of family support services) to provide a range of services that meet the identified needs of vulnerable and hard to reach families with children under 5 living in the Coalville area. This will include working one to one with families in their own home, as well as facilitating different groups. All services provided will support the delivery of the Children’s Centre Core Offer and aim to enable all children to achieve the Every Child Matters 5 Outcomes. You will have reasonable, satisfactory performance working and effectively engaging with children and families within a Children’s Centre or similar community development role, and have a relevant qualification in community, health or social work. (Minimum of a Level 3 qualification and at least 2 years post qualification experience) You will possess the necessary skills to work effectively towards delivering the core offer of integrated services to local families with children under 5 living in the Children’s Centre reach area. You will have recent experience of supporting and developing community groups and projects; experience of home visiting; experience of multi-agency and partnership working, the ability to build and develop trusting relationships and encourage local participation and volunteering with local parents; the ability to build strong local networks and contacts, and the ability to initiate and develop family learning, capacity building and group work. In additional you will have good signposting and networking skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
