Previous Montessori classroom experience is a must; applicants must have experience of working within a Montessori environment for at least 6 months.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in your room reflective of the Montessori Principles
To work in partnership with the parents
To follow all the policies and procedures set out by the Settings management

You must have good level of written and spoken English.

We are looking for a Nursery Manager with the ability to inspire and motivate a staff team and promote only the very best standards of care and education for all children at our Slough Day Nursery.

Slough is a 67 place nursery caring for children aged from 3 months to 5 years.

You will be someone who is passionate about all aspects of childcare and education and able to bring new ideas to the role.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education

To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff.

To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times

To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels

To be influential in developing strong links with parents.

To manage the day to day operations of the nursery

You will be:

EYPS/NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent and will need to have, knowledge of OFSTED standards, excellent knowledge of the EYFS, excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines, excellent communication skills, strong people management skills and knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.

Previous relevant management experience is essential

An experienced Nursery Manager is required within a lovely Surrey Nursery.

This post requires a Nursery Manager with excellent organisational and communication skills, as you work between two sites. You must be able to delegate effectively and ensure you divide your time efficiently, prioritising your workload as required

You will have excellent customer service skills as well as the ability to get the best from your staff team.

Ideally you will have managed a Nursery previously, but a well-experienced Deputy Manager looking to take the next step up will be considered also.

  • To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education

  • Strong people management skills

  • Previous relevant supervisory experience
