Montessori Professionals Required for North London Setting.
My client has a proud tradition of employing highly-trained and motivated childcare professionals and they are currently seeking several Montessori Teachers to join their passionate team who will be working to launch and establish a new setting in North London. The Nursery is registered for 70 Children over 7 rooms; it is well equipped and has a large outdoor space where lessons do sometimes take place. Candidates with a Montessori Qualification or undertaking a Montessori qualification need only apply
Duties:
To ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Montessori room.
To ensure the Montessori philosophy is followed and enhanced at all times.
To ensure the welfare of the children in your care and act as a role model for the organisation with the parents.
To keep the Nursery Manager informed of any issues as they arise.
Required Experience and Essential Knowledge/Skills:
Newly Qualified, Partly Qualified or Experienced Montessori Teacher with a Qualification from a recognized Montessori provider
Ability to keep the Montessori environment to the required standard
Competent in Arts & Craft
Good organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
To be flexible
Team player
Willingness to attend workshops and staff meetings
Initiative and ability to cope under pressure
Professional manner at all times
Ability to plan ahead
Knowledge of the required Health & Safety and Policy & Procedures standards in a Montessori / Pre-School setting
