Sole charge position available in Jersey to care for two girls aged 8yrs and 12yrs. Accommodation is a cottage shared with two other members of staff. Driver essential. This is a great busy role for a nurturing, lively Nanny who enjoys working as part of a team. The family have four children, but the youngest two (twins of 3yrs) are looked after by another Nanny. You will mainly be responsible for their older sisters aged 8yrs and 12yrs, but occasionally you will also have charge of the twins (around 10% of the time). The family are looking for someone who is pro-active and quick on their feet, someone who can help the girls with their personal, social and emotional development. There is a lot of driving in this role, so you must have a clean driving licence and happy to travel long distances in the car (which will be supplied on duty). There is a lot of travel in this role, up to 12 weeks a year. Monday to Friday 7.30am-7.30pm. £Negotiable depending on experience. To start in September.

Room Leader for the Pre-School Room. The setting is based between Chiswick and Richmond and belongs to a small boutique childcare provider who has a portfolio of 6 other settings.

duties will include –

Provide quality day care to the children and ensure that they are safe, loved, stimulated and well cared for.
Responsible for planning and carrying out observation and assessments and writing reports.
Ensuring that my room is a safe and secure environment which provides a wide range of activities for the children. Ensuring the staff are adhering to this philosophy.
Guide and support staff, ensuring they maintain high standards, ensuring they plan for the children within the Early Years framework.
Responsible for developing strong relationships with parents and other childcare professionals.
Preparing the Nursery for marketing events and parents evening
Being available for Parents evenings, providing detailed feedback to parents about their children.
Working closely with the Nursery Manager to constantly review and improve the service offering for the benefit of the children
