Turn Around Nursery Manager

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager who is able to provide turn around support for this fantastic setting.

You will be someone who has solid experience within childcare and worked within full daycare. You will have a proven track record of supporting and turning around challenging situation.

You will have excellent people management skills with an ability to inspire, motivate others and provide excellent leadership to ensure targets are achieved.

This role is ideal for someone who has an uncompromising approach to all aspects of their work and able to ensure that the best possible standards are achieved at all times.

You will be responsible for the smooth running of the nursery, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • To Achieve and maintain high standards of care
  • To Effectively lead and manage the staff team, manage staff recruitment and retention
  • To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable
  • To ensure all policies are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To Implement an effective parent liaison program

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • 3 years’ post-qualification experience and 2 years’ relevant supervisory experience
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Knowledge of OFSTED standards
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a staff team
  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities

Nursery Nurse – Walton on Thames

Nursery Nurse required for fantastic setting in a purpose built setting, the building has two gardens, staff room, games room, sensory room and car parking for staff. Your duties will include -

Organising, producing activities and teaching numeracy work
Working to meet the children’s standards
Working with children with special needs by helping them meet and archive their goals
Producing work and feed back to co-workers and parents, meeting their requests and understanding their needs
Daily cleaning and preparing the environment for the children
Planning and supervising activities using the EYFS Framework
Helping children to learn number skills through activities like counting games
Reading stories and providing other activities to develop language skills
Taking children on outings
Helping children to learn skills such as dressing and using cutlery
Feeding, bathing and changing babies
Observing children and writing reports on their progress
Being aware of health and safety and making sure children are safe
Sharing information on children’s’ development with their parents
Reporting any concerns such as signs of abuse

Temporary Nanny – Wiltshire and London

Temporary nanny required to care for children aged 4 and 1 over the summer. The family will be renovating their London home so will divide the summer between the family home in Wiltshire and a London house (most likely not the property being renovated). They will also be spending 2 weeks in the South of France for the first two weeks of August.

A driver is essential as there might be periods of time when in Wiltshire that Mum will have to return to London. Otherwise you will be responsible for standard nursery duties and arranging fun activities. A swimmer is also essential. When in the UK you will have your own room, but accomodation will vary whilst in France. This is a mixed sole and shared charge role.

Working hours will generally be 7.30 to 7.30, Monday through Friday, although this role will suit a flexible, easy going person who is happy to have plans change at short notice.

  • Based between Fulham, London; nr Pewsey, Wiltshire and the South of France
