We seek an experienced Nursery Manager who has a minimum 5 years management experience of Day Nurseries and is qualified ideally with an appropriate Degree. The Nursery Manager will join our client now and help them establish a Day Nursery from inception to opening day. Your responsibilities will be vast, from registering the business with Ofsted, structuring the business, hiring and even helping with the choice of a name.

The client is a family conglomerate whose main interests lay in property. The building has been owned by the client for sometime now and they are therefore very familiar with the community’s needs, and have an established presence in the area. The manager will be working closely with the directors of the business and have opportunities to learn and experience facets of the industry they would normally not have access to.

It is a huge Victorian Villa with its own playground. The building is separated into 7 large rooms and they will be looking at having 60 children there. They are looking to open in September 2011.

This lovely nursery are looking for a Room Leader to join the Nursery team

You will be required to run the room and support the staff team within the room. The successful applicant will be passionate about working in childcare, work well within a team and develop excellent relationships with parents as well as having a very good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.

Qualifications required -

NNEB, BTEC National Diploma, CACHE level 3 Diploma, NVQ level 3, HNC, SNVQ 3, NVQ level 4, Foundation Degree, Early Years Professional Status (EYPS)

Other Skills required –

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
