Deputy Nursery Manager, supernumerary for successful Nursery in Hemel Hempstead. You must be very experienced and have excellent knowledge of EYFS. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Manager with the following:

ensuring the nursery achieves and maintains high standards of care, implement EYFS, assist with staff training and staff recruitment, to support the manager in ensuring all health and safety policies are implemented, ensuring compliance with children’s act, ensure that staff are following guidelines laid down by Ofsted and the national standards, staff assessments, developing teamwork, organizing team meetings, assist in all nursery administration and finance, to liaise effectively with parents and carers, and help drive occupancy.

You will need to be at least NVQ3 qualified or equivalent and have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role like room leader.

Live in or live out nanny needed for family with a 7 months baby girl. (Born Sept 7th 2010) If the nanny wants to live in then a cottage next to the house will be provided for her. They don’t have any pets, but might get a dog or cat later on. The working days are 4 days per week always. They are flexible on what day that will be off. (prefer the nanny to have Friday off but as mentioned they are flexible) Mum is going back to work in September so then it will be sole charge. However 1 day per week the mum will be at home and then she will mainly need help with light house work, cooking, running errands and food shopping. Driver is not essential but they prefer it. Very friendly and easygoing family is looking for a Mothers help to their 3 children.
Children are 3 year-old twins, girls and a 4 years old girl. The 4 year-old is at nursery and the parents try to find nursery to the twins, as well.
One of the twins who borned later doesn’t speak too much, but we looked into this and by twins it is natural that they start to talk later. Because of this the Mum would like to find someone who is patient, loves being with children, happy to play stimulating games with them.
Duties are general childcare duties and light housework like cleaning up after meals or play time, tidy up rooms, hoovering, ironing, etc.
The family has a cleaner twice a week, but they would like someone who can keep the house tidy and who is happy to help with the housework.
Working hours are from Monday to Friday 8/9.00am to 8.00pm. Weekends are free.
They don’t need a driver and are happy with a fair level of English if the carer can hold a conversation.
