St John’s Wood, NW8: Lovely, caring, fun family require a creative, hands on, experienced nanny to work in partnership with mum looking after 2 yr old Boy and a newborn due in June. Monday to Friday, 8am- 6pm. £450- £550 net per week neg on qual and exp.

Caring, friendly, warm family are looking for someone who is fun, creative and kind to work in partnership with Mum caring for their 2 yr old son. Mum is due to have her 2nd child in June and would like someone to build a strong relationship with their son before number 2 arrives. Newborn experience is essential as well as age appropriate experience for the toddler. A maternity nanny will also be employed and they have a housekeeper so someone who is a team player and has a great ability to fit in and get on with others is very important. The ideal candidate will be able to show initiative and organisational skills by arranging playdates, outings and activities. All normal nursery duties are required but not the children’s laundry. SEPTEMBER START
Anyone who works here will be very lucky – this family believes in treating their employees well, and treating them kindly with respect. Their present lady has been with them for 8 years!
Top professional House keeper/ cook / nanny needed – someone who is used to working in a home with high standards, and with regular Entertaining.
The home has 7 bedrooms, and is built over 4 floors –but please don’t worry about running up and down stairs all day, as there is a lift!
You will need to be the type of person who can run a large household, who is organised and can plan ahead, and able to use their own initiative, and also know when to “melt into the background.”
You will travel extensively with the Family.
You will need to be a confident, good cook, able to produce Family meals, and help with entertaining. If you are experienced with Jewish Food it would help, but is not essential, as the Family is willing to show you.
The children are all of school age – 9, 7 and nearly 5 years, therefore most of the childcare is before and after school, and babysitting.
You will work 5 ½ days per week, and the usual day off is Sunday and ½ day on Monday. There could be a little flexibility with this.
