An exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager within a busy South West London Nursery

You will have an excellent understanding of how to get the best from your staff team and will ensure high standards of childcare and Education are delivered across the Nursery.

This busy Nursery is looking for a Nursery Manager with a real passion for their childcare career, who can motivate and inspire the staff team and ensure parents are more than satisfied with the level of service they are receiving.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
• To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
• To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times
• To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends
• To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels
• To implement an effective parent liaison programme, to be influential in developing strong links with parents.
• To manage all day to day operations of the nursery

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

• NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Knowledge of OFSTED standards
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
• Good time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong people management skills
• Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
• Previous relevant supervisory experience

Lovely, informal household known to the agency are looking for a live in nanny after their nanny of 2.5 years is leaving them to move back to the UK. She is happy to speak with any prospective nannies and has really enjoyed her time working with the family. You need to be happy to look after the three children and confident with all ages although all three are at school full time. A driver is essential as you will need to do school runs and arrange play dates for the children. This is a fully staffed household so you need to be a team player and happy to work alongside other staff members. The family live in a lovely area on an island although they are only an hour away from Copenhagen so you are able to go there on your days off if you would like to.

You need to be a lover of the outdoors as well as someone, fit and active and happy to muck in where needed.
