Occupational Health Nurse

I have had an exciting new vacancy that has just come up for a Occupational Health Nurse working within the Resources Department in Derby.

Previous experience of working as a Occupational Health Nurse is essential and you must be a registered general nurse.

Working within a local authority in Derby you would become part of a medium sized team within the Nursing Team. The role operates Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm, however does offer flexibility should you require.

You main responsibilities will include providing advice and support on all work-related health issues to ensure compliance with legislation and current Occupational Health Standards of practice, Collate and interpret the medical information in accordance with the NMC Code of Practice, Carry out health assessments re fitness for all new posts and employees within the Council and for external customers, Carry out statutory medicals in accordance with legislative requirements including lung function screening and ECGs and Perform ergonomic workplace assessments, reporting findings and recommendations to the Occupational Health Manager ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation.

Cheerful AuPair Required for a Very Nice Family

Very nice family is looking for their AuPair to help around their children and home.
Parents are both in their 40s and both are working in full time in manager position. Children are two boys, 6 years old and 18 years old, but there is not too much work with the older son. Both children attend full time school at the weekdays.

Working hours: 30-35 hrs a week with 1-2 nights occasional babysitting. Monday to Friday 7.00-9.30am and 4.00 to 7.30pm. Weekends are free.
The family will need help with drop off/pick up when children are going to school. Also the youngest son goes to after school activities twice a week. In the afternoon the au pair will prepare meals to the children, supervise home work and entertain the youngest one.
The houshold chores are shared, the mum would be happy if the au pair could keep an eye on the kitchen at all times, do the hoovering, dusting and some ironing.

It’s a village location and the aupair will have use of a car in her free time.
Bedford town is 10 minutes driving away, Northampton is 15 minutes away.
They have a dog – so a dog lover is essential! The au pair will have no extra duties with the dog, just if she is happy to help for the family.

They need the right candidate to be a confident DRIVER, be 21yrs+ old, speak conversational level of English, be very friendly, opened, honest – who is not afraid to tell if something bad happened, child-centred, enjoying to be a big sister of the boys. Also be helpful, flexible and pro-active.

They wish to find someone who is happy to be part of the family and interact with them. If the au pair is at home they would like her to enjoy family activities, even over the weekends if she wants to.
