Afterschool Club Worker
Private Girls School, Letchworth – Hertfordshire
This school is an inclusive day and boarding school for girls aged between 3 and 18 years. It provides a board and balanced education for girls blending traditional values and a modern vision of what the young woman of today can achieve. The school are currently looking for a qualified Nursery Nurse / Teaching Assistant / Play worker to join the staff on a temporary basis working in the Afterschool Club.

This is a temporary position whilst the school recruit someone on a permanent basis. The successful candidate would be required to work between the hours of 3pm – 7pm. The role is available on a part time basis (Wednesday – Friday) or for the full week Monday – Friday.

It is essential for any interested candidates to have a level 3 qualification in either childcare and education, learning and development, playwork or above. You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering activities to girls aged between 3 – 6 years after school.

The Nursery is based in the South East London/Kent borders . The suitable candidate should be passionate about early years, with sound understanding of children’s needs/development, Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, parent partnership, and working in a team.
