Nursery Manager – Swindon

A fantastic Nursery setting ( 100 place setting) which belongs to a leading Nursery Provider requires and experienced Nursery Manager. The Nursery Manager must be fully qualified with a minimum NVQ3 in Early Years, but we do prefer candidates with a relevant Degree or in the process of doing their Degree.

The Nursery manager will need to show strong oral and written skills, strong leadership and supervisory skills, expertise with the National standards, expertise in implementing and developing the curriculum using EYFS, understanding of business financials, exceptional communicator and able to demonstrate sensitivity and awareness when communicating with parents and staff.

The Managers Duties will include –

Implementation of the EYFS Curriculum

Recruitment

Supervision

Leadership

Building strong parent relationships

Marketing the setting

Enrolment and Enrolment targets

Health and Safety

All Financials

Maintenance and appearance of the setting

Fostering strong team ethic within the setting

This family is looking for a full-time live-in or live-out English speaking nanny from December 28th, 2010 to look after their baby boy who will be 6 months in the New Year.

Permanent position / Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 7:30PM (or from 8:00AM to 8:00PM)

Some baby-sitting required up to two nights per week.

Normal nursery duties + some light house work (since a cleaner and gardener are also employed)

Experience of babies and non-smoker essential. The ideal candidate should also be able to cook with fresh ingredients.

Salary: £16000 – £18000 depending on experience
This Gloucestershire nursery has an excellent reputation in the local area and is looking for an experienced Deputy Manager or Manager.
You will play a key role in this Nursery and you will be the Curriculum Lead as well as the Pre-school Room Leader. If you have a proven history of excellent staff management, can build strong relationships with parents this would be the job for you. A strong management team would also support the successful candidate.

You will require a passion for your work with the Early Years, a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and a desire to achieve within your childcare career.

Nursery Nurse

Hays Education are currently seeking a nursery nurse to work within a daycare setting in the Ferryhill area in County Durham.

Our client is a well-established day care provider who offer a combination of nursery services including full time day care (8am to 6pm) and crèche facilities.

You will be required to work as part of a team to provide a high standard of care to children from birth to five. As a qualified nursery nurse you will have a good understanding of the EYFS and will be comfortable working in both a baby and toddler room. You must be able to work as part of a team but also use your own initiative.

Hours of work will vary from week to week and can be flexible to fit around your own commitments. This is a temporary role, initially for 2 months for a minimum of 20 hours per week with the opportunity to work more when required.

Essential nursery nurse skills:

  • NNEB / NVQ / CACHE level 3 or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of the EYFS
  • Knowledge of working in both a baby and toddler room
  • Ability to communicate well with children, parents, staff and outside agencies
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Ability to use your own initiative
