Friday Job

Our client is looking for a live out One day a week nanny on a Friday, two Fridays with one family and two with another, the position requires a Spanish speaking nanny, it would be based in Clapham and it is looking after family one a 1 year old and a 4 year old and family two a 1 year old, 4 and 6 year old. They do require a driver there is a car provided and they would require the candidate to be ofsted registered nanny. The working hours would be 8am – 7pm.

An experienced Deputy Manager is required to work closely alongside the Nursery Manager in this beautiful Nursery.
You will work as part of the Management team, with additional administrative support within the Nursery, in order that you can focus on providing high quality Care and Education across all rooms and areas of the Nursery.
You will have excellent people skills, witth the ability to manage your staff team as well as develop excellent links with parents.

You will be passionate about your work with the Early Years and enjoy working within a busy environment.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
  • Overseeing the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum across all age groups
  • With the manager to effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
  • To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends specifically related to the relevant curriculum
  • To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To implement an effective parent liaison programme, to be influential in developing strong links with parents.

You will ideally need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Post-qualification experience and supervisory experience

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing a diverse staff team
  • Customer services – Customer relations & satisfaction, customer attraction and retention
  • Business management – To ensure all nurseries within your portfolio achieve financial targets, manage operating costs and ensure viability and profitability

The successful person for the role will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • The job holder must be experienced to effectively manage the financial and commercial aspects of a multi site business.
  • Must have relevant management experience in a customer related business and a sound knowledge of the national standards for day care. The job holder will also be required to have a sound knowledge of the children’s act.
  • The job holder must be PC literate
  • Must have a clean driving license as the job holder will be operating in a mobile environment.
  • The job holder must have strong management and leadership skills and the ability to prioritise a demanding workload in a dynamic and growing business.
  • Good financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets across a multi site business
  • Good numerical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse monthly management information including sales and occupancy targets
  • Must have people management experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Permanent Live in Nanny – Hard working, flexible and patient nanny required for busy family looking after two little boys of 3 and 2 years old as well as a very easy little four month old girl. Sole charge care and 2 nights baby sitting by prior arrangement. 8:00am-6:30pm. Large double bedroom and en suite bathroom. Richmond. Monday to Friday £350-400 pwn

A confident, patient and fun loving Live In Nanny required for sole charge care of two little boys of 3 and 2 years old as well as a little 4 month old girl. The older boy is at nursery from Monday to Friday and there is extra assistance with the little two year old. The children are happy and sociable characters as well as being incredibly easy and have had nannies from newborn. Your duties will include getting them ready for school in the morning, nursery runs, play groups and after school activities as well as assisting in their development. All of their activities etc are within walking distance to the house. Your normal working hours are 8:00am-6:30pm as well as 2 nights babysitting by prior arrangement. All three children are also very active and sociable so the nanny will need to be too. Cooking healthy meals for the children is essential as well.

Your accommodation is the master bedroom with an en suite bathroom. This is a Permanent position and the family are hoping to find someone who will stay with them for many years to come. There may also be the chance to move to the USA with the family in the next two years. £350-400 pwn
