  • Leading and managing a diverse staff team
  • Customer services – Customer relations & satisfaction, customer attraction and retention
  • Business management – To ensure all nurseries within your portfolio achieve financial targets, manage operating costs and ensure viability and profitability

The successful person for the role will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • The job holder must be experienced to effectively manage the financial and commercial aspects of a multi site business.
  • Must have relevant management experience in a customer related business and a sound knowledge of the national standards for day care. The job holder will also be required to have a sound knowledge of the children’s act.
  • The job holder must be PC literate
  • Must have a clean driving license as the job holder will be operating in a mobile environment.
  • The job holder must have strong management and leadership skills and the ability to prioritise a demanding workload in a dynamic and growing business.
  • Good financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets across a multi site business
  • Good numerical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse monthly management information including sales and occupancy targets
  • Must have people management experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Informal, friendly, laid-back British family require a live in nanny to assist in the care of their two girls aged 9 months and 4½ years. Mum is at home and the nanny will be required to work in sole and shared charge alongside mum. The eldest child has cystic fibrosis and requires daily medication and physiotherapy therefore the family are ideally looking for someone responsible and confident to assist in her care. Their ideal candidate will be someone bright, willing to learn, on the ball, meticulous, bubbly, lively and inspiring. The eldest daughter may at times be unable to attend school therefore a nanny who is able to provide developmental activities and fun ways of learning will be a great asset for the family. Nanny must also have sound working knowledge of babies and able to assist with weaning and potty training etc. The family travel the majority of school holidays to various locations. A driver is required for this position and an automatic car will be provided on duty. Own double bedroom, equipped with TV, sky and a computer with Internet access, and en-suite bathroom.
