Nursery Manager – Hertfordshire

A great role of a dynamic manager who is able to manage and lead a team and offer a warm supportive working environment.

This is a role which would be most suited to an experienced nursery manager who has or is keen to work in a busy vibrant environment.

You will need be some who has a real ability to offer structure, focus to the staff and setting with a real ability to achieve.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
  • To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
  • To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends
  • To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Knowledge of OFSTED standards
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
  • Previous relevant supervisory experience

L193 Live-in Nanny TN11

Charming professional family recently relocated to Kent TN11 are looking for a sole charge live in nanny, to care for their two delightful little boys aged 3 and 2 years old. Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm with two nights babysitting Tuesdays and Thursdays. The ideal candidate will be looking for a long term position, be warm, loving and proactive about looking for new classes, activities and generally be able to help the children with their relocation. A driver with a clean licence is essential for this and a car is available for the nannies sole use on and off duty. This position is nursery duties only and a housekeeper will also be employed, but an ability to muck in if needed in the parents absence would be greatly appreciated. The nannies current accommodation is the top floor of the house and comprises of a bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. The plan is within the next 12 months to convert one of the properties barns to provide the nanny with completely separate accommodation. This position is to start in Mid October and is paying £350-£450 per week net depending on age and experience.

After School Club Supervisor

After School Club Supervisor Job, Level 3 qualified, Tunbridge Wells. Kent

We are currently looking for an outstanding After School Club Worker for a job in the After School Club of a primary school in central Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare and Education, will be flexible and live within, or close to Tunbridge Wells and have experience of working in a school or preschool environment.
Experience working as a Room Leader or in management role would be an advantage.

The hours are 3pm – 6pm, Monday to Friday.
The job is to start asap and would be for term time only.
Duties include;

  • Supervising children in an After School Club setting
  • Planning and organising activities for the children
  • Liaising with the parents and feedback on children’s progress/behaviour
  • Working as part of a team, ensuring that the childs well being is priority
