Nursery Nurse

Montessori Nursery Manager – New Nursery

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Montessori Manager / Nursery Manager to help the support and development of this brand new nursery.

You will have sold experience of managing a Montessori nursery previously with an ability to develop a great reputation in the local community.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

  • To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
  • To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention
  • To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable
  • To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To Implement an effective parent liaison programme.

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • Montessori diploma,NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Knowledge of OFSTED standards and EYFS

Your Key Responsibilities may include -

Act as Room Leader and to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

Ensure your staff team provide high standards of care for the children.

Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate records.

Ensure that your staff team are always aware of each child’s individual needs and that all children are kept safe and that the staff understand, and follow Child Protection Procedures.

Support the staff and supervise the staff with their day to day duties.

Be responsible for participating in all self-development activities including appraisals and supervisions.

Meet with the manager on a regular basis and report on individual children and staff

Meet with parents

Interview new staff with the manager

After Nursery Childcare for Two Young Boys in Hammersmith

We are looking for someone to help with our two young boys (aged three and a half and one years old). The afternoon/evening routine will include picking them up from nursery, feeding them a snack, bathing and playing with them.

Start date: Soon but prepared to wait for the right person
Hours: 3:00 – 7.00 pm (Monday to Friday). 1 night per week babysitting

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Part-time Live-out Nanny

Part time nanny required to look after a lovely baby boy 8 months of age. The suitable candidate will hold a first aid certificate and she/he will be experience with this age group. We are looking for an active nanny who can stimulate and easily engaged with the baby. Duties include feeding, playing, taking the baby on outings and generally all nursery duties. The position is one day per week only but it’s permanent. The ideal candidate should be ready to be in the position for at least one year. The position is on Fridays from 9.30am to 18.00pm.
