Nursery Manager – Brentford

Almost new setting, with fantastic rooms, outdoor space, high standards and a waiting list requires a Nursery Manager The Nursery Manager must be fully qualified with a minimum NVQ3 in Early Years, but we do prefer candidates with a relevant Degree or in the process of doing their Degree.

The Nursery manager will need to show strong oral and written skills, strong leadership and supervisory skills, expertise with the National standards, expertise in implementing and developing the curriculum using EYFS, understanding of business financials, exceptional communicator and able to demonstrate sensitivity and awareness when communicating with parents and staff.

The Managers Duties will include –

Room Leader – Cheam

This is an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Room Leader to join this well established Nursery. The room leader will be based in the Pre-school room with excellent knowledge of the EYFS. The room will have 24 children with two other staff. The duties will include –
Provide quality day care to the children and ensure that they are safe, loved, stimulated and well cared for.

Responsible for planning and carrying out observation and assessments and writing reports.

Ensuring that my room is a safe and secure environment which provides a wide range of activities for the hildren. Ensuring the staff are adhering to this philosophy.

Guide and support staff, ensuring they maintain high standards, ensuring they plan for the children within the Early Years framework.

Responsible for developing strong relationships with parents and other childcare professionals.

Preparing the Nursery for marketing events and parents evening

Being available for Parents evenings, providing detailed feedback to parents about their children.

Working closely with the Nursery Manager to constantly review and improve the service offering for the benefit of the children

Full support and guidance will be provided by the manager and this is a real opportunity to put you own mark on the room and implement your own ideas.

The family are looking for a governess/ nanny to prepare & conduct play/lessons for the children, aimed at the development of physical, intellectual, emotional, creative and social skills. Pay special attention to developing of English language; communicate with the children solely in English. Work in partnership with the parents on the care for their children, monitor and register the Children’s progress and present written reports to parents monthly. Take control of the Children’s nutrition, maintain and keep the healthy diet and regular meal routine. Being safely conscious, discreet, flexible, easygoing, open hatred and having a genuine love of working with children is essential.

As the Family lives in two countries, moving to and from, Russia and Italy, accommodation provided in both countries. Russia – a separate apartment, Italy the nanny has a large room with ensuite. The nanny will be required to travel with the family and will have four weeks paid holidays a year with flight paid by arrangement. The nanny will be paid an excellent negotiable salary according to experience between £700-£1000 Per Week On Experience, plus flights, mobile and medical insurance.
