full time live in nanny is needed for a family with 2 children (5yo and 3yo) and a baby due in April 2010 (maternity nurse is booked for 8 weeks)

the mother works from home but also travels for work – sometimes for couple of days but the father is around as well

this is a full time position (Monday-Friday 7am-7pm – with some flexibility) and ocassional Saturdays

this position requires plenty of flexibility as the family is always very busy – there is a lot of travelling involved as well (usually Italy/Switzerland) the family does have a house in Switzerland and they spend the whole summer there – the nanny must be happy to join them!

this would be ideal for a nanny with previous childcare experience who is keen to travel and have some fun! The parents speak English, German and Italian

they have 2 dogs (labradors)

The Nursery Nurse is responsible to the Manager and Deputy Manager.
Duties will include:
•Adhering to the Policies & Procedures of Just Learning Ltd and compliance with the Children Act, Health and Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted/CSIW and the National Standards. Ensuring confidentiality is maintained in the nursery.

•Working as part of a team.

•The care and supervision of the children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs.

•The planning and preparation of activities, to meet children’s individual needs, liaising with parents and negotiating working targets ensuring effective communication within the nursery.

•Offering all children equal opportunities with regard to their religious persuasion, racial origins, gender, disabilities, cultural or linguistic background; in particular, challenging situations where racism or discrimination is displayed.
