A Nursery Managers post for a great nursery based in Croydon, catering for children from 03 months to 2 years and containing 68 children. This is a great career move for a self sufficient manager who has a very professional approach to every aspect of his/her job. You will need to be a manager who has a strong focus providing staff with a supportive working environment and the passion to provide excellent quality childcare in a warm supportive environment.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

• To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
• To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention
• To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable
• To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
• To Implement an effective parent liaison programme.

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

• NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
• Good time management skills
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Knowledge of OFSTED standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong people management skills
• Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
