Room Leader – Clapham

This is an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Room Leader to join this well established Nursery. The room leader will be based in the Baby Room, which is a large room require an experienced person, to manage a team. You must have excellent knowledge of the EYFS. The room will have 24 children with two other staff. The duties will include –
Provide quality day care to the children and ensure that they are safe, loved, stimulated and well cared for.

Responsible for planning and carrying out observation and assessments and writing reports.

Ensuring that my room is a safe and secure environment which provides a wide range of activities for the hildren. Ensuring the staff are adhering to this philosophy.

Guide and support staff, ensuring they maintain high standards, ensuring they plan for the children within the Early Years framework.

Responsible for developing strong relationships with parents and other childcare professionals.

Preparing the Nursery for marketing events and parents evening

Being available for Parents evenings, providing detailed feedback to parents about their children.

Working closely with the Nursery Manager to constantly review and improve the service offering for the benefit of the children

Full support and guidance will be provided by the manager and this is a real opportunity to put you own mark on the room and implement your own ideas.

Community Nursery Nurse

Nursery Nurse to work in a long term capacity in Camden Health Centre

There is a job for a Community Nursery Nurse in Camden as part of the Health Visiting Team. They are looking for a NNEB or NVQ Level 3 trained Nursery Nurse to start ASAP for 4 to 12 weeks. The Nursery Nurse could work from 9-5pm or 9.30-5.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break, 5 days a week. The Nursery Nurse will support health visitors and community nurses, and you will also be required to go on visits.

The suitable candidate will have:

  • An NNEB/ Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse
  • A solid understanding of the EYFS
  • A solid understanding of the NHS, although not essential it would be desirable if you had experience
  • A proactive and positive attitude to work
  • A background working with different agencies

The salary will range between 7- 10/Hour and will include holiday pay.

This role is office based. You must have good ICT skills and be interested in a job which isn’t 100% childcare. Training is provided and there is an extensive period of support. You will be expected to go on home visits.

Deputy Manager – Teddington

Experienced Deputy manager, for setting based in Teddington. The company are a well known, successful Nursery Provider who offer the staff a good base salary, support, additional training and try to encourage all staff members to gain more qualifications. The Deputy must be Level 3 qualified and preferably working towards a Level 4 qualification and have excellent knowledge of EYFS. Duties to include -

Supporting the daily running of the club

Meeting standards of Ofsted and EYFS

Providing appropriate play activities for children

Ensuring that play materials are safe, clean and properly used

Liaising with parents, head teacher of the school

Working in partnership with teachers to support children’s development

Promoting extended school services

Attending courses and meetings as appropriate

Updating records of children, attendance files

Record incidents and injuries

Act out fire procedures as trial, making sure staff and children are aware of procedures

In the case of illness of supervisor, running the club

Leading team of six people in partnership with supervisor

Preparing invoices, inform parents of new and events

Organising seasonal events for children with range o different activities

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join the team at one of London’s most sought after Day Nurseries in South West London (Wandsworth)

The position is on a full-time permanent basis (4.5 day week, 37.5 hours) for children aged 0 to 5 years old.
