Regional Manager – Kent

Rare and Exciting opportunity for a Regional Manager!

This is an exciting role to join a focused organisation to become the market leader in childcare standards and market ownership. The role would be very suited to a very experienced nursery manager or a regional manager looking for career progression and wanting to join a team of senior managers and influence decisions to help a company achieve business objectives. The location for this role requires someone who is flexible with travel and able to manage nurseries covering the Kent region. This role is a strategic which requires the individual to be proactive and forward thinking, you will be contributing to the overall progression of a group of nurseries.

You will be responsible for overseeing the business and childcare management of a portfolio of nurseries, ensuring commercial success in line with the company’s vision and values. Driving the Nursery Managers in delivering a quality childcare service which is compliant with the OFSTED standards, meets customer’s expectations and maximizes opportunities to attract potential service users. You must provide strong leadership skills so that all are clear about what is expected of them and to create a momentum to realise the goals and targets for the portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing a diverse staff team
  • Customer services – Customer relations & satisfaction, customer attraction and retention
  • Business management – To ensure all nurseries within your portfolio achieve financial targets, manage operating costs and ensure viability and profitability

The successful person for the role will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • The job holder must be experienced to effectively manage the financial and commercial aspects of a multi site business.
  • Must have relevant management experience in a customer related business and a sound knowledge of the national standards for day care. The job holder will also be required to have a sound knowledge of the children’s act.
  • The job holder must be PC literate
  • Must have a clean driving license as the job holder will be operating in a mobile environment.
  • The job holder must have strong management and leadership skills and the ability to prioritise a demanding workload in a dynamic and growing business.
  • Good financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets across a multi site business
  • Good numerical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse monthly management information including sales and occupancy targets
  • Must have people management experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be able to analyse management information and identify key trends, issues

You will work within overall business objectives, procedures, and legal framework but will have a high degree of autonomy on how these are implemented and managed within their portfolio. Proactive Nanny with Spanish or French

Proactive, fit Nanny/Governess is sought for Bahrain-based family with two boys aged 4.5 and 3. Primary duties would be to play and educate the children to further their development. The boys speak Arabic and English and therefore outstanding command of English is a must for prospective candidate. Native level Spanish or French (though Spanish is preferred) is also essential to improve children’s language skills. Further duties involve helping with homework which is in English and develop children through creative games and activities. To be considered for the role you have to have a positive, cheerful personality, loads of initiative and should be willing to help out as a member of the family. The position would be a shared care role with other Nanny. Hours of work are from 1am to 8/9pm 5 or 6 days per week plus occasional full weekends.

Own bedroom and bathroom for accommodation. Salary: £600 per week net but open for negotiations. Immediate start, but family is happy to wait for the right person. The role can be full-time live-in or, if already based in Bahrain, can be part-time. Live-in Nanny

Down to earth, energetic, professional nanny with previous teaching experience sought to care for B 5yrs, 3yrs and 1 yr of age to work M-F (07:30-19:00) and occasional weekend work in Gloucestershire. You should be organised, tidy, discreet and professional, with previous experience of caring for three children of similar ages. The family have a dog which occasionally requires walking and a flexible approach to duties and a happy ‘can do attitude’ is therefore essential. Occasional overseas travel will be required. Friendly, informal British/Romanian family are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, bubbly, friendly and active nanny to care for their little boy of one years old. Ideally the nanny will be excellent at the day to day care of the little boy as well as cooking healthy meals for him and normal nursery duties along with fun one on one activities with him. Mum is going back to work full time so the position will be sole charge plus one or two nights babysitting per week. The ideal nanny is one who will use her initiative, teach the little boy age appropriate games etc and be focused on his development. The position is based in the city centre of Prague which is beautiful with lots of parks and warmish weather and has been voted as one of the best places to go to in Europe. A driver would be helpful but is not essential and your accommodation is a lovely, large separate flat with a sauna and roof terrace, next door to the family’s apartment. The family would like a nanny who is happy to travel with them worldwide and stay with them long term.
