Lovely laid back South African family based in Virginia Water, Surrey are looking for an South African nanny who understands/speaks Afrikaans to start ASAP. You will have sole charge of their two children, boy of 3 years and boy 5 months. You will be responsible for all nursery duties. The ideal candidate should be willing to travel as you will be required to go on holiday to Cape Town, South Africa with the family. Hours are 9-7, Mon – Fri, however occasionally some flexibility will be required. Overtime will be paid for any additional babysitting. An automatic driver is preferred but not essential. £450npw + holidays. Trains from Clapham, Wimbledon, Southfields take approx 35 min!

Your Key Responsibilities may include -

Act as Room Leader and to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

Ensure your staff team provide high standards of care for the children.

Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate records.

Ensure that your staff team are always aware of each child’s individual needs and that all children are kept safe and that the staff understand, and follow Child Protection Procedures.

Support the staff and supervise the staff with their day to day duties.

Be responsible for participating in all self-development activities including appraisals and supervisions.

Meet with the manager on a regular basis and report on individual children and staff

Meet with parents

Interview new staff with the manager

Chelsea, SW10
French speaking daily (or live in) nanny required for a VIP family with 4 children aged 12, 10, 8 and 5. They children are all super well behaved and mannered and fluent in French, but the parents are not (they are English), hence the need for a nanny who speaks excellent French (Parisian ideally). Their last nanny stayed with them for 2 years and she highly recommends them plus the family comes highly recommended by a few of our old and very loyal clients. Working days and hours: Wednesday 11-9, Friday 11-9, Saturday 10-10, Sunday 10-10. These hours are approximates only, because if they do not go out, then they will let the nanny go earlier. They have a fully staffed household with a Housekeeper, Laundress, Weekday nanny, Weekend nanny, Part time chef, Part time tutor. They travel quite a lot and they would like you to go with them. The travelling will be shared with the other nanny.
Interviews now before the end of March as they are away the whole April but can be after April too. Potential travel with the family but not essential. Hours may be slightly flexible too
