Live-in Nanny

Wimbledon – Live in nanny. Sole/Shared charge care of two little boys of 4 and 6 years old. Assisting with homework etc. Mon – Fri. 7:00am-7:00pm. Large double bedroom and en suite bathroom on top floor. ASAP £350 – 400 pwn

Flexible and active sole/shared charge nanny required for busy family with two little boys of 4 and 6 years old. This would be mostly sole charge but mum may pop in and out. A driver is essential as you need to take the boys to and from school as well as after school activities and there is a car provided for the nanny. There is a lot of International travel and the family travel to Denmark for 4 weeks in the Summer time as well as two weeks skiing in the winter. You need to be confident assisting with homework etc and someone fit and active would be ideal as the boys love going to the park etc. Working hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00am-7:00pm including two nights babysitting. Your accommodation is a large double bedroom and en suite bathroom on the top floor.

Room Leader – Clapham

This is an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Room Leader to join this well established Nursery. The room leader will be based in the Baby Room, which is a large room require an experienced person, to manage a team. You must have excellent knowledge of the EYFS. The room will have 24 children with two other staff. The duties will include –
Provide quality day care to the children and ensure that they are safe, loved, stimulated and well cared for.

Responsible for planning and carrying out observation and assessments and writing reports.

Ensuring that my room is a safe and secure environment which provides a wide range of activities for the hildren. Ensuring the staff are adhering to this philosophy.

Guide and support staff, ensuring they maintain high standards, ensuring they plan for the children within the Early Years framework.

Responsible for developing strong relationships with parents and other childcare professionals.

Preparing the Nursery for marketing events and parents evening

Being available for Parents evenings, providing detailed feedback to parents about their children.

Working closely with the Nursery Manager to constantly review and improve the service offering for the benefit of the children

Full support and guidance will be provided by the manager and this is a real opportunity to put you own mark on the room and implement your own ideas.

Nursery Team Leader in Chiswick

A fantastic opportunity has come up for an experienced Team Leader to work in the West London area with the under 2’s. The nursery is located in a quiet residential area of Chiswick, and is well-established with a friendly and happy environment. The nursery has two rooms that cater for the under 2’s. The position requires you to be based as the Room Leader in one of the rooms, whilst taking on a supervisory role in the other.

The opening hours of the nursery are 7:30 am – 6:15 pm and the position will require you to work a 40 hour week, on a shift rota basis.

The nursery has been established since 2001 and operates from a converted house which can cater for up to 88 children at any one time. The setting prides itself on providing childcare which is of the highest quality and standards. The nursery has four main playrooms for individual age groups, each with a separate sleeping area, along with a creative outdoor play area which is both stimulating and secure. There are many of the original features that still remain in the property to provide spacious and interesting rooms with first class childcare facilities.

The ideal candidate for a Room Leader will have:

  • A Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working with children
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • A strong ability to plan activities along with excellent understanding of the EYFS.
  • The capability to work under pressure and in a very busy environment.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Support staff in your team.
  • Meet children’s needs on day-to-day basis
  • Carry out observations and write reports.
  • Liaise with parents and other staff.
  • Assess risks.
  • Ensure high levels of practice are met.
