Australian / Scottish family in Bermuda are looking for a lively and fun nanny / housekeeper to help with their busy family. They have two lovely girls ages 5 and 9. The family own a boat, dogs and a horse so a outdoor nanny is a must! All housekeeping duties are needed to be done, as well as help with the girls. A car will be provided, so a driver is essential. The family travel a great deal to Australia, England, and have regular ski holidays, and you would be going with them.

A seperate apartment is also provided. and the pay is $450 per week, this position will be starting as soon as the right candidate is found!

Nursery Manager – Berkshire

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nursery manager to join a forward thinking organisation.

The role requires someone who has the ability to inspire and motivate a staff team, achieving only the very best standards of care and education for all children at the nursery.

You will be some who is passionate about all aspects of childcare and education and able to bring new and innovative ideas to the role.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
  • To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
  • To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends
  • To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels
  • To implement an effective parent liaison programme, to be influential in developing strong links with parents.
  • To manage all day to day operations of the nursery

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Knowledge of OFSTED standards
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
  • Previous relevant supervisory experience

An experienced live in baby nanny required for sole charge care of a little 7 month old girl. Mum is planning on putting her in nursery two mornings a week as well and would like the nanny to take her to classes etc as well. She wants a sociable nanny who is happy to do play dates etc as well as being confident caring for this age group. You need to be very aware of where she is developmentally and be comfortable with routines and weaning. Both parents work full time so this is a completely sole charge position. You would need to travel with the family on occasion and two babysits per week by prior arrangement.

This is an informal household and the family are looking for someone long term.

Your accommodation is a lovely, large loft apartment, very private from the house.
