The right candidate will need to have great experience, particularly of the age groups, and be able to research into new activities for the children. Experienced Deputy manager, for setting based in Finchley. The Deputy must be Level 4 qualified or currently working towards a Level 4 qualification or above and excellent knowledge of EYFS. Duties to include -

Supporting the daily running of the club

Meeting standards of Ofsted and EYFS

Providing appropriate play activities for children

Ensuring that play materials are safe, clean and properly used

Liaising with parents, head teacher of the school

Working in partnership with teachers to support children’s development

Promoting extended school services

Attending courses and meetings as appropriate

Updating records of children, attendance files

Record incidents and injuries

Act out fire procedures as trial, making sure staff and children are aware of procedures

In the case of illness of supervisor, running the club

Leading team of six people in partnership with supervisor

Preparing invoices, inform parents of new and events

Organising seasonal events for children with range o different activities
