Live-out Nanny

Excellent Live Out Nanny Position in the Canary Wharf area!

This is a great role for an experienced Live out Nanny to take care of 2 children, ages 3.5 and 5 months. You will need to be someone who enjoys providing the children with a creative environment and doing outdoor activities with the children. You will also need to support the children in all day to day activities, it is preferred if you are qualified but not essential.

Some of your roles and responsibilities will include:

  • All the basic childcare and learning needs
  • Organising play dates and social interaction with the child’s friends and other children in the local community.
  • Meal preparation and the cleaning up afterwards.
  • Laundry and ironing of the child’s clothes.
  • Making and changing the child’s bed.
  • Keeping child’s bedroom and playroom clean and tidy.
  • Accompanying the child/ren to any appointments that they might have.
  • Additional babysitting.
  • Basic family shopping.
  • Taking responsibility for any family pets.
  • Running errands for the family-collecting dry cleaning, posting parcels etc

Your Key Responsibilities may include -

Act as Room Leader and to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

Ensure your staff team provide high standards of care for the children.

Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate records.

Ensure that your staff team are always aware of each child’s individual needs and that all children are kept safe and that the staff understand, and follow Child Protection Procedures.

Support the staff and supervise the staff with their day to day duties.

Be responsible for participating in all self-development activities including appraisals and supervisions.

Meet with the manager on a regular basis and report on individual children and staff

Meet with parents

Interview new staff with the manager

One of the leading childcare providers are looking for a qualified, enthustiastic NVQ Assessor to work with 5 of their settings based in Essex.

Some of your duties are
To work with Tutors/Trainers and Assessors

To establish, develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all Nursery Management within a set cluster.

To guide support and mentor learners who are enrolled on the CCLD programme.

To promote the Kaleidoscope CCLD programme to all relevant Directors of Childcare, Nursery Managers and learners.

A minimum of 5 years post qualifying experience in the role of senior nursery practitioner/member of management in a children’s day nursery setting

Proven knowledge of all facets of the full apprenticeship framework – Technical Certificate, NVQ, ERR, Key Skills and Paediatric First Aid.

Proven knowledge and ability in all aspects relating to quality early years care and education

To demonstrate good communication (verbal and written) and mentoring skills
Computer literate
Good organisation and leadership skills
Demonstrate creative initiative and ability
To work autonomously and in a team

Live-out Nanny Required in Barnes, London

Barnes
Live out sole charge nanny needed for girl aged 2 ½. Working days are Mon-Fri 8:30am-9:30am taking the girl to nursery then there is a break until 12.00 pm when the girl gets picked up from nursery at 12:20pm. Taking her home and make her lunch. Read to her an take her to various activities. Mum is back 6:30pm so this is when the nanny finishes. They would love to get some evening work help as well if possible for the nanny.

Part-Time Live Out Nanny needed to help with School pick-up & care for two boys, 4 & 2. Working days are Tues-Thurs: 14:00 – 19:00.
