Room Leader – Tadworth

This is an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Room Leader to join this well established Nursery Provider with an extensive network of settings in Surrey. There are opportunities for Room Leaders at several sites and with various age groups, duties will include –

Provide quality day care to the children and ensure that they are safe, loved, stimulated and well cared for.
Responsible for planning and carrying out observation and assessments and writing reports.
Ensuring that my room is a safe and secure environment which provides a wide range of activities for the children. Ensuring the staff are adhering to this philosophy.
Guide and support staff, ensuring they maintain high standards, ensuring they plan for the children within the Early Years framework.
Responsible for developing strong relationships with parents and other childcare professionals.
Preparing the Nursery for marketing events and parents evening
Being available for Parents evenings, providing detailed feedback to parents about their children.
Working closely with the Nursery Manager to constantly review and improve the service offering for the benefit of the children

Play Worker

Hays Early Years are looking for a Play worker to work in a Gloucestershire based children’s centre. This position would be suited to candidate looking for a full-time position in Gloucestershire.

You will assist the Play and Learning Coordinator in planning and delivering play and learning activities at the Children’s Centre. This will include supporting the planning and delivery of a stimulating and inclusive range of group activities for parents / carers and their children aged 0 – 5 years, including working within various groups and the Ofsted registered crèche for children (0 – 5 years). There will be occasions when you will deputise for the Play and Learning coordinator in his/her absence, including the supervision of sessional crèche staff.

You will have a Childcare/Early Years qualification to at least level 3 standard or Level 2 qualified but working towards a level 3 qualification and experience of working with children aged 0 – 5 years in a full day care or sessional care setting, in a diverse, inner city community.

Temporary Live-in Nanny

Temporary Live in Nanny – Hard working, flexible nanny required for a busy family looking after two children aged 9 and 6 years old. The role is shared charge working 6/7 days per week between 20th December and 4th January with Christmas Eve and day off. Flex hours. The family are over in London visiting from abroad so shall be looking to go and enjoy the sights and festive activities. The family require someone is energetic and fun and happy to muck in and work alongside mum. There will be free time when the family go out to visit friends and family so you will have time off during the day or evening. You will have a very large double bedroom (originally two rooms) and will be sharing with the children. The position is 6/7 days per week including working on New Years Eve and Day, however you will have Christmas Eve and Day off.
