Fantastic Position in Cambridge

Nice position in Stapleford, two children 4 and a half years and 8 months. This is a sole charge position as the mother is returning to work, but would like a week to go through the hand over. The nanny will need to be a driver as will have to do the school runs with the oldest child.

This is a part time position, from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and is £8 per hour. Interviews will be held ASAP and the nanny should be ready to start in October.

You will have sole charge of their two children, boy of 3 years and boy 5 months. You will be responsible for all nursery duties. The ideal candidate should be willing to travel as you will be required to go on holiday annually to Cape Town, as well as other short holidays abroad throughout the year. Hours are 9-7, Mon – Fri, however occasionally some flexibility will be required. Overtime will be paid for any additional babysitting. Nursery Team Leader in Chiswick

A fantastic opportunity has come up for an experienced Team Leader to work in the West London area with the under 2’s. The nursery is located in a quiet residential area of Chiswick, and is well-established with a friendly and happy environment. The nursery has two rooms that cater for the under 2’s. The position requires you to be based as the Room Leader in one of the rooms, whilst taking on a supervisory role in the other.

The opening hours of the nursery are 7:30 am – 6:15 pm and the position will require you to work a 40 hour week, on a shift rota basis.

The nursery has been established since 2001 and operates from a converted house which can cater for up to 88 children at any one time. The setting prides itself on providing childcare which is of the highest quality and standards. The nursery has four main playrooms for individual age groups, each with a separate sleeping area, along with a creative outdoor play area which is both stimulating and secure. There are many of the original features that still remain in the property to provide spacious and interesting rooms with first class childcare facilities.

The ideal candidate for a Room Leader will have:

  • A Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working with children
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • A strong ability to plan activities along with excellent understanding of the EYFS.
  • The capability to work under pressure and in a very busy environment.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Support staff in your team.
  • Meet children’s needs on day-to-day basis
  • Carry out observations and write reports.
  • Liaise with parents and other staff.
  • Assess risks.
  • Ensure high levels of practice are met.
