Room Leader – Kingston

An exciting opportunity for candidates who are very keen on career progression.

A leading Nursery Provider with a large setting based 10 minutes walk from the Kingston train station requires a very strong Room Leader to work in their baby room, toddler or the pre-school unit. You need to be very strong on either Birth to Three matters ro Foundation Stage.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

To ensure the children are hayy and safe

Be very fluent in your Birth to three matters

Manager and guide your staff and children

Plan, prepare and write repoty and updating parents about their children

Work as a teacm and keep the members of staff motivated

You will need to have the following qualifications:

Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (NNEB, BTEC, CACHE, BA etc. )

Should have been a Room Leader

Senior Room Leader – Woking

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Room Leader to work with the Under two’s.
This lovely Nursery is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and passionate Senior Room Leader to manage two rooms for children under Two years.

You will be responsible for 9 staff members across the rooms and so will need to have good communication and organisational skills.
You will need to ensure all staff have an awareness of, and are implementing, good practice within their rooms and are providing stimulating activities for all the children in their care.

This position would suit an experienced Room Leader or Deputy Manager of a smaller setting, who is able to motivate their staff and build excellent relationships with all parents.

A fantastic opportunity to manage your own staff team while still maintaining close links with the parents and children.

Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include:

  • To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
  • To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS
  • To work in partnership with the parents
  • To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
  • To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Have experience of working with children

4-4.5 Dpw Live-in Nanny

live in mother’s help/nanny is needed for 2 children – 6yo boy (in full time school) and almost 3yo girl

mum works from home, mix of a sole charge and shared care is needed (school runs, activities with the girl etc.)

cleaner comes 2x per week, you will be required to do the ironing and light nursery duties

the days and hours are flexible

(can be agreed on as fixed or change to a convenience or both sides) – ideally 4 or 4,5 days per week, hours needed are between 8am and 7pm (with breaks during the day), some weekends (Saturday or Sunday afternoon) – family is flexible

ideal schedulle would be 4 full days during Monday – Friday (with day off in the middle of the week ideally but this can be flexible) with either Saturday or Sunday afternoon working – 4 and half days per week altogether with 2-3 evening babysittings per week

this is very easy going job, with very nice family!

accommodation provided – bedroom on separate floor (with tv,dvd,wifi etc.) and bathroom on the same floor shared with children, also use of a playroom with big tv+sky box in the evenings

travel with the family is required

(Europe – Spain, Portugal, South of France, ocassionally South Africa as well) – this will be usually for 2-3 weeks at a time during school holidays

previous live out nanny stayed for 3,5 years, current live in nanny is leaving as she is home sick but agreed to stay until new nanny is found

MUST have experience working with 3 years olds (tantrums!), have fluent English and excellent checkable references! driver is not needed and there are no pets within the household
