Nursery Nurses

Protocol Education are a Bristol based supply agency that can offer you a wide variety of placements in and around the city area.

We work closely with a number of Private Nurseries, Children Centre’s and Schools providing them with staff for short term, long term and permanent roles.

We are currently looking to increase our pool of qualified and unqualified Early Years Practitioners. You must have at least 6 weeks work experience paid or unpaid based in a childcare setting from within the last two years and ideally hold either NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.

Room Supervisor – Pre-School


Room Leader – Watford – £16,000

We require an experienced and professional Room Leader to join this modern and well established private day nursery.

You must be able to demonstrate a through understanding of the EYFS Framework and have some supervisory experience as well as at least 2 years experience after qualification.

Your Key Responsibilities may include -

Act as Room Leader and to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

  • Ensure your staff team provide high standards of care for the children.
  • Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure that your staff team are always aware of each child’s individual needs and that all children are kept safe and that the staff understand, and follow Child Protection Procedures.
  • Support the staff and supervise the staff with their day to day duties.
  • Be responsible for participating in all self-development activities including appraisals and supervisions.
  • Meet with the manager on a regular basis and report on individual children and staff
  • Meet with parents
  • Interview new staff with the manager
