Fabulous daily position available for early next Spring in Frome. You would be looking after 3 young children, a boy of 6 and two girls aged 4 and 18 months. This is a temporary role, starting in March and for a period of 8 weeks you would be working Monday to Friday 7.30am-6.30pm while the parents (choreographer and dancer) are in full time rehearsals. After 8 weeks the role becomes more of a proxy parenting role, working Thursday-Saturday, 2/3 nights a week, while they are on tour, in which case you would have your own room in the house. A driver is preferable although shops, school, nursery and the children’s dance classes are all within easy walking distance. Deputy Manager who will manage the setting in the absence of the Nursery Manager. You must be qualified to at least level 3 and sound working knowledge of EYFS and previous experience of working as a Room Leader at least.
The setting belongs to a small group, which has been growing over teh last 2 years. the setting has 3 rooms, and an outdoor space for the children. It also has a staff room.

Some of your Key Responsibilities will include -

Manage the nursery in the absence of the manager, assist in the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers, ensure that staff are following the key person procedures in line with company policy and EYFS, Assist the manager with the day to day management of the nursery, Implement Health and Safety polices with in the nursery, assist the manager with the recruitment and the induction procedure

of all new staff and support and supervise all staff with their day to day duties

An exciting role has come up in a 59 place private day nursery based in North London. This well established nursery are looking for an switched on deputy manager to join their team for an maternity cover (approx 6- 12 months; start in July)

You will hold a level 3 in childcare and have some supervisory experience in an early years setting ideally as a deputy.

Your duties will include:
