Qualified Nursery Nurse

A Children’s Centre situated in a very pleasant residential area in the heart of Woodford, IG8 is looking to recruit an experienced Nursery Nurse for January 2010.

It is run by the London borough of Redbridge and operates from a purpose built single storey building in a semi-residential street in Woodford within the London borough of Redbridge close to parks and amenities. The nursery serves the local area and also has places for teachers working in the London borough of Redbridge and parents who work for the Primary Care Trust.

The nursery is open between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday for 51 weeks of the year. There are currently 62 children aged from 5 months to 4 years attending. There are 19 members of staff working directly with the children, including the manager of whom 16 have appropriate early years qualifications to NVQ level 2 or 3 and 3 are working towards a level 2.

You will be needed full-time, 5 days a week, have a passion for working with children and want to give an excellent standard of childcare. Ideal candidates must be LEVEL 3 (NVQ or equivalent). Your duties will include: Talking to Parents. Help with planning within the Nursery and using curriculum’s such as Birth to Three matters and Foundation Stage. Promote good practice.

Permanent Live in Nanny – Fun loving, patient, flexible nanny required for busy family looking after three children who are 6, 4 and 1 years old. A fun, flexible, committed, career Live In Nanny required for sole charge care of 3 children, two girls who are 6 and 4 years old and a little boy of 1 years old. The older children are at school and the little boy is at morning activities that you will do with him. The family also have a very friendly housekeeper who is very child friendly and happy to help with the children if needed. Your duties will include getting them ready for school in the morning, breakfast, dressing, school runs, play groups and after school activities. They are creative, busy children so a like minded nanny is required. Someone with a nursery background would be most welcome as well. Normal working hours are between 7::30am-7:00pm and there may be up to 2 nights babysitting by prior arrangement. Cooking healthy meals for the children is essential as well.

Full-time Live In/Live Out Nanny Required

An efficient, organised, loving, fun nanny is required to look after a 3 year old and 14 month old twins in Hampshire. Monday – Friday 8am-6.30pm.

The family are moving to their country home in Hampshire on 18th June and are looking for help to start as soon as possible.

The mum will be at home most of the time, but you will have sole charge of the three children. You will also be expected to do housework relating to the children (ironing, tidying up after the children, cooking etc). They will have a cleaner. You must also be happy to do occasional babysitting.

You must like animals and be able to drive.

Live In Nanny will have their own bedroom and a shared bathroom with the children. They are happy to have a live out nanny if you live close by.

  • To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
  • Overseeing the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum across all age groups

  • To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends specifically related to the relevant curriculum
  • To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times

You will ideally need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

This familly is looking for a full-time nanny to look after their baby girl who will be 6 months old then.

Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 7:00pm

Childcare qualifications preferred and experience of babies essential.

The candidate should be native English or perfectly fluent in English.

Occasional baby-sitting.
