Full-time Live In/Live Out Nanny Required

An efficient, organised, loving, fun nanny is required to look after a 3 year old and 14 month old twins in Hampshire. Monday – Friday 8am-6.30pm.

The family are moving to their country home in Hampshire on 18th June and are looking for help to start as soon as possible.

The mum will be at home most of the time, but you will have sole charge of the three children. You will also be expected to do housework relating to the children (ironing, tidying up after the children, cooking etc). They will have a cleaner. You must also be happy to do occasional babysitting.

You must like animals and be able to drive.

Live In Nanny will have their own bedroom and a shared bathroom with the children. They are happy to have a live out nanny if you live close by.

Your Key Responsibilities may include -

Act as Room Leader and to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Provide high standards of quality within the nursery.

Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate records.

Ensure that children are kept safe and that staff understand, and follow Child Protection Procedures.

Support and supervise room staff with their day to day duties.

Be responsible for participating in all self-developmentactivities including appraisals and supervisions.

Deputy Manager, Kingston

Deputy Manager

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to support and assist the Nursery Manager within a Nursery that prides itself on providing high quality childcare and education.

You will be responsible for ensuring all staff within the setting adhere to the policies and procedures of the Nursery and all parents are happy with the childcare service they receive, as well as assisting the Nursery Manager with staff training, retention and recruitment and welcoming new parents to the Nursery.

If you have previous Room Leader experience, have good communication and organisational skills and are looking for a new challenge within a company that will make a real contribution to your career development, this is a fantastic opportunity.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
  • Overseeing the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum across all age groups
  • With the manager to effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
  • To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends specifically related to the relevant curriculum
  • To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To implement an effective parent liaison programme, to be influential in developing strong links with parents.

You will ideally need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Post-qualification experience and supervisory experience
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work deadlines
  • Knowledge and experience of OFSTED standards and EYFS
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities.
