Nursery Nurses Needed

A large buzzing Nursery based in a West London Primary School is seeking an experienced Early Years Educator to join their 33 –strong current staff quota.
The Nursery is currently running full capacity and is well-located within West London with easy access to transport links into Hammersmith & the City.

The ideal candidate will live local to the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

The Nursery needs an experienced candidate who can “hit the ground running”
He/She must hold an Early Years qualification – ideally NNEB or NVQ Level 3 and have experience of working with key children and taking observations.

Live in tutor/ nanny for a VIP family with children aged 7, 4 and an 18 years old. Working days and hours: 5 days per week (can be 5,5 if you prefer as they are flexible) but they prefer you to work Saturdays if you can so you have a day off during the week. They need someone super flexible. 7 til 9am and then some errands and then 3 or 4pm til late (sometimes babysitting and sometimes not and they will try and let you know in advance. They have housekeeper. Driver is not essential but its a bonus. Travel frequently but time off in lieu. They go everywhere (Maldives, Europe, Skiing in spring time and other places and they have a lot of kids clubs there). They are looking for someone mature (max 40 ideally), energetic, live in, intelligent, cultural and well educated ideal. You must have an EU passport or other that you can travel easily so you can travel. Must speak great English and ideally also French but its not a must. They want you to be very easy going and also help around the house if needed. Easy going is key! Mum is at home but super busy but may go back to work if they find the right person. Accommodation: nice accommodation in central London. Family is highly recommended by one of our super lovely clients.

Nursery Manager

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager.

You will be someone who is passionate about delivering excellent standards of care to all your service users. With an ability to drive forward change by providing an focused and inspiring environment.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
  • To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
  • To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends
  • To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels
    • To implement an effective parent liaison programme, to be influential in developing strong links with parents.
    • To manage all day to day operations of the nursery

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Knowledge of OFSTED standards
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
  • Previous relevant supervisory experience
