An exciting opportunity for experienced Pre- Ofsted Inspectors has arisen to provide pre Ofsted inspection audits for full day care nurseries on a temporary ad hoc basis.
The successful candidate will be working in partnership with individual nurseries to identify areas of development in the settings and strategies to move the setting forward in order to ensure that the nursery gains a good Ofsted rating and consistent high standards of Childcare and Education are being met throughout the nurseries.
You will have previously been employed as an Ofsted Inspector and have a thorough understanding of all the requirements that a nursery needs to obtain a successful Ofsted Inspection rating.
You will do this by independently auditing all sites and writing up reports and recommendations and where necessary action plans to develop the sites.
The successful candidate must be able to drive and have access to your own car on a full time basis.
You must be flexible and willing to drive to various locations around the UK.
The role is temporary and flexible on a when needed basis.
The successful Ofsted Inspector will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working as an Ofsted Inspector or a similar position
- Hold a level 3 certificate in Childcare or equivalent
- Hold a full and clean driving licence
- Good IT skills
- Excellent literacy skills
- Excellent communication and motivation skills
- Confident in your work
