Mum has a demanding job and may travel on business(sometimes several days in a row) therefore proxy parenting will be required. Nursery Manager

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager or Room Leader to take a senior position within a Nursery.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Nursery from recruiting new staff, to ensuring ratios are maintined, to overseeing the curriculum provided in the Nursery.

This exciting position is open to all applicants qualified with Level 3 or equivalennt in childcare, with good comminucation and organisational skills and a good understanding of the needs of parents.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
• Overseeing the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum across all age groups
• With the manager to effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff

You will ideally need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work deadlines
• Knowledge and experience of OFSTED standards and EYFS
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong people management skills
