Maternity Nurse

Maternity Nurse needed for 1st baby due 4th June 2010. Baby will be breast fed, share room with baby, own room on day off, English TV. House is near borders of France & Switzerland, 20 minutes from Basel & 40 minutes from Zurich. Position is live in, 6 days a week for 8 to 12 weeks.

Nursery Manager – Berkshire

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nursery manager to join a forward thinking organisation.

The role requires someone who has the ability to inspire and motivate a staff team, achieving only the very best standards of care and education for all children at the nursery.

You will be some who is passionate about all aspects of childcare and education and able to bring new and innovative ideas to the role.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are implemented and adhered to at all times
To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends
To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels
To implement an effective parent liaison programme, to be influential in developing strong links with parents.
To manage all day to day operations of the nursery

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
Knowledge of OFSTED standards
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
Good time management skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong people management skills
Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
Previous relevant supervisory experience

Live-in Nanny Needed in Cambridge, One Child, £350++

Professional family in Cambridge are looking for a nanny for their busy 2 year old. The nanny will need to be flexible as the parents are doctors and do work shifts. It is a 5 day week, usually from 7am to 7pm. The child does go to nursery in the morning for 3 hours, so nursery duties can be done whilst the child is there. If the nanny could drive it would be an advantage. The nanny will be provided with a room, but will have to share a bathroom. The position is starting asap.
