A capable, fun and energetic daily dog-friendly Nanny-Housekeeper needed by a busy family in Twickenham. Duties include driving the girls aged 17,14, 11 & 7 years to various after school activities – tennis club, hockey club etc – lots of driving around (a manual car). Full-time Live-in English Speaking Nanny / Al-Ain – UAE

This high profile family is looking for a high calibre nanny for their 10 months old baby boy.

This family of five is very informal, open-minded and hands-on with their children. The parents are also easy-going, family-oriented and health conscious.

Two other nannies are already employed to look after their two older daughters.

The nanny will be an integral part of the family and be the person responsible for all day-to day needs of the children. She should be very warm, loving, reliable, trustworthy and loyal person that acts as an extension of the parents in their absence, in terms of values, discipline and above all warmth towards their son. The nanny will be considered as a fully integrated family member that is treated as an equal at all times, not forgetting though that she have also been hired in her professional capacity as a nanny in a team where everyone is empowered and fulfils their role to the best of their ability. The nanny will be required to travel with the family during weekends within the emirates or overseas.

English speaking essential and good knowledge of French would be a plus.

12 month contract initially

Early Years Practitioner – Hounslow

The position is on a full-time permanent basis, with the nursery open between 9am & 6pm, Monday to Friday, for children aged 0 to 5 years old.

The Nursery is set up in one main playroom, which allows all age groups to interact together. The purpose built room has toys and activities to stimulate the children’s curiosity and a desire to learn.

Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant:
Hays Early Years are currently working with a number of Primary Schools in South Birmingham area to recruit Early Years Specialists to work as Teaching Assistants in the Foundation Stage. The full time positions are to start immediately.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will be supporting the Class Teacher assisting with the organisation and preparation of classroom resources in accordance with lesson plans and assist pupils in their use. You will be expected to maintain pupil records and gather information as required. The promotion of good pupil behaviour, dealing with incidents in line with the schools policies and reporting difficulties as appropriate. Supporting the needs of pupils is essential for this role. You will be expected to provide 1:1 support for pupils as needed; promoting self-esteem, encouraging pupils to act independently and support academic and personal development. The promotion of inclusion in line with the Every Child Matters Agenda is extremely important as well as the ability to establish good relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
SKILLS NEEDED:

  • 6 months experience of working in a school environment is desirable
  • Good Numeracy and Literacy Skills
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults
  • Work constructively as part of a team
  • Working alongside children with SEN/behavioural difficulties is desirable
  • Experience of working with phonics would be advantageous
  • An Early Years Qualification to Level 3 standard
