Nursery Manager Brand New Nursery

This is a fantastic nursery manager role for an experience nursery manager wishing to setup a brand new Nursery.

You will be someone who is keen to put your own stamp on the setting with a focus on delivering outstanding results.

You will have the ability to manage and support all aspects of a new start up nursery.

Some of your responsibilities will be:

  • To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
  • To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention
  • To effectively manage the budget and occupancy levels to ensure the nursery is profitable
  • To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To Implement an effective parent liaison programme.

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
  • Knowledge of OFSTED standards and EYFS
  • Excellent communication skills

Deputy Nursery Manager

This non-profit nursery in Enfield is looking for a strong deputy manager to join their happy team.

The nursery caters for 50 children within 3 rooms. They have great transport links and have on street parking.

Your duties will include:

  • Supporting the manager in the day to day running of the nursery
  • Leading and deputizing staff
  • Liaising with parents/guardians and external bodies including Ofsted and the local council
  • Dealing with office administration
  • Monthly tally of employee working hours & payroll returns
  • Recruiting, interviewing, inducting, keeping to staff-child ratio’s

They ideal candidate will:

  • have supervisory experience
  • excellent knowledge of the EYFS
  • Committed, motivated and confident

The nursery is open from 8am – 6pm and shifts will be within these times. The working week is 37.5 hours over 4.5 days.
