This young family based in Stanmore, north London are looking for a Mothershelp to start as soon as possible. You will need to be kind, calm, flexible and helpful as this position is generally shared care. The twins are just 11 weeks old, you will be required to help Monday to Friday from 9am to 2pm with all general nanny duties including feeding, changing and bathing as well as helping with all other things. Experience with twins is preferred but not essential but you must have experience with young babies in a Mothershelp position previously. Salary is excellent.

his is an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Room Leader to join this well established Nursery with plans to extend over the next 6 months. My client have planning permission to expand the current building to create 2 new Room for the over 2s catering for up to 30 children.

You will be given the opportunity to create from scratch a 15 place room for either the 2-3s or the 3-5s. You will be given the chance to design the room to your own specification and choose equipment to cater for your specific age group. Full support and guidance will be provided by the manager and childcare directors however this is a real opportunity to put you own mark on the room and implement your own ideas.

Personal Specification:

Qualified to at least Level 3 in Early Years Childcare

Ideally working towards a Level 4 or Management qualification

At least 2 years previous Room Leading experience

An excellent knowledge of both Birth to Three Matters and the Foundation Stage

Familiar with the new EYFS Curriculum

Willingness to take on Management responsibilities

Willingness to take on Management training

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good team player

After School care required for a boy aged 12 and a girl aged 10, Tuesday-Thursday (inclusive), 3-6.30pm during term time with some full days offered during school holidays. School pick-up for the girl, (the boy makes his own way home), supervision of homework and activities, preparation of tea, accompanying the girl to occasional after school activities such as ballet every other Tuesday (all within walking distance). The family also has two cats!
