One to One Nursery Assistant

One to One Nursery Assistant required for Hull Nursery!
My client is a Private Day Nursery in East Hull and they are looking for a Nursery Assistant with a minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years or equivalent. The Nursery has recently undergone a two storey extension and complete refurbishment and prides itself on providing excellent, second to none childcare for the local area.
The successful applicant will be required to work on a one to one basis supporting two children with statemented behaviour difficulties. The children have been identified as presenting severe behaviour problems and as such the successful applicant would have to have strong behaviour management skills.
Experience of working one to one with statemented children is desirable but not essential. Candidates must have an Enhanced CRB disclosure.
The skills we look for in our Nursery Staff include:

  • Early Years qualification either NVQ, CACHE or equivalent
  • At least 3 months experience in an Early Years setting is essential
  • Experience of supporting SEN pupils
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Willingness to promote learning
  • Innovative and resourceful attitude to work
  • Own transport is preferable but public transport is no bar to work

The successful candidate will be required to work 15 hours a week split over 3 days, Tuesday Thursday and Friday.
The position is to start as soon as possible and successful applicants may be required to attend a half day assessment within the Nursery.

Live-in Nanny Housekeeper

Busy Mum requires a friendly and proactive live in Nanny Housekeeper to help care for her children of 15, 11 and 9. Must be a driver for school runs – car provided for spare time use as well. Some cooking for children and help with homework. Must be capable of sole charge in mum’s absence about once per month for 3-4 days. Father travels extensively to M. East and New York. Other tasks include maintenance of 7 beds/3 baths house on 3 levels, family laundry and ironing. Separate top floor accommodation with own bathroom, TV and internet connection. . Nursery Manager – Chessington

A fantastic Nursery setting ( 57 place) which belongs to a leading Nursery Provider requires and experienced Nursery Manager. The Nursery Manager must be fully qualified with a minimum NVQ3 in Early Years, but we do prefer candidates with a relevant Degree or in the process of doing their Degree.

The Nursery manager will need to show strong oral and written skills, strong leadership and supervisory skills, expertise with the National standards, expertise in implementing and developing the curriculum using EYFS, understanding of business financials, exceptional communicator and able to demonstrate sensitivity and awareness when communicating with parents and staff.

The Managers Duties will include -
