Lovely family relocating to Rugby, Warwickshire in October are looking for a nanny to look after their one year old son. This is a daily or live in position as the right nanny is the most important thing. Live in accommodation will be at least own bedroom and bathroom and hopefully something self contained or separate. This position is sole charge and nursery duties only with the emphasis on wearing out a small boy with bags of energy! A knowledge of the local area, age appropriate classes, activities and other children would be a huge help in the family settling in their new home. Mum is keen on parks and play dates as well as arts, crafts and other fun home based activities. The ideal qualified will be experienced, ideally qualified with excellent checkable references and bags of energy! A driver is essential to ensure this fun life and a car can possibly be provided if needed. The hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 7pm with some occasional overnights if both parents are travelling on business. To start in October. £350-£450 per week net depending on age and experience

English Speaking / Nanny / Zurich (SWITZERLAND)

This wonderful Swiss German family is looking for a nanny/housekeeper to look after their two children aged 2 and 4 years-old.

The mother works 60%-70% of the time away from home.

Permanent (at least 2 years commitment), live-in and full-time position.

Duties: Looking after the children on Mondays and Saturdays / tidying, cleaning after the children and cooking dinner for the whole family from Tuesday to Friday (whilst the children are at nursery). The children go to nursery until 12:00 pm so this is why cooking is required from the nanny. A cleaner is employed to do the heavy duty work.

Working hours: Monday to Friday: from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm / Saturday: 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Occasional baby-sitting. The candidate should also be ready to accompany the family on holiday to their apartment in Saint Moritz (Sunday would be free)

Ability to cook with fresh ingredients essential.

The Operations Director must provide strong leadership skills so that all are clear about what is expected of them and to create a momentum to realise the goals and targets for the portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing a diverse staff team
  • Customer services – Customer relations & satisfaction, customer attraction and retention
  • Business management – To ensure all nurseries within your portfolio achieve financial targets, manage operating costs and ensure viability and profitability

The successful person for the role will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • The job holder must be experienced to effectively manage the financial and commercial aspects of a multi site business.
  • Must have relevant management experience in a customer related business and a sound knowledge of the national standards for day care. The job holder will also be required to have a sound knowledge of the children’s act.
  • The job holder must be PC literate
  • Must have a clean driving license as the job holder will be operating in a mobile environment.
  • The job holder must have strong management and leadership skills and the ability to prioritise a demanding workload in a dynamic and growing business.
  • Good financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets across a multi site business
  • Good numerical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse monthly management information including sales and occupancy targets
  • Must have people management experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
