Nanny in Geneva £1000 P/W

We are looking for a nanny to start employment in April/May 2010 to be based in Geneva, you must be confident to look after a 2 year old for a very high profile family.

To be considered for this position you must have extensive childcare experience (10 years plus) and qualifications such as NNEB and hold a valid paediatric first aid certificate.

French speaker and teaching qualifications would be a huge advantage.

The position is 5 days per week, 12 hours per day with a fully furnished apartment for your use after an initial 3 month trial period- where you will be staying in a hotel.

This role requires you to drive and a car will be provided.

The position will also involve extensive travelling, staying in 5* hotels, travelling on private aircrafts and yachts.

Must be immaculately presented and well spoken.

Salary £1000 per week net

High profile family in W11 are looking for a Sole charge Live In Nanny for baby boy (5 months at start of position), and come highly recommended by their Maternity Nurse who describes them as a lovely family to work for.

Must have excellent newborn & weaning experience and top references

Working hours are 7-7 Mon to Fri, but you will need to be on site 24 hours during this period due to nature of Parents work / hours and you will have the monitor but he does sleep through the night.

LOTS OF INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL due to Mums work – New York and Milan already planned for Jan – so must have valid EU Passport.

As you would expect for a position of this nature, successful candidate would also be well-groomed, discreet and flexible.

Salary is £500-£600 npw, and accomodation consists of double room and own bathroom.

Deputy Manager – Birmingham

An experienced Deputy Manager is required for an immediate start on a four month contract. This is a great opportunity to take a senior position within a reputable Nursery that could lead to further employment within the organisation.

You will need to have previous Deputy Manager experience, or have experience of being a Room Leader in a busy Nursery.

You will need to have a passion for providing high quality childcare with strong communication and people skills as well as the confidence and ability to step into this Deputy Manager’s role and perform immediately.

An understanding of how to form good relationships with parents and colleagues is essential for this role.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
  • Overseeing the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum across all age groups
  • With the manager to effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
  • To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends specifically related to the relevant curriculum
  • To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To implement an effective parent liaison programme, to be influential in developing strong links with parents.

You will ideally need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Post-qualification experience and supervisory experience
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work deadlines
  • Knowledge and experience of OFSTED standards and EYFS
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities.
