Deputy Manager

Deputy Manager/ Senior Nursery Practitioner

A fantastic opportunity for a very experienced Nursery practitioner to work closely alongside the Manager within a Nursery that prides itself on providing high quality childcare and education.

You will ideally be qualified to Degree Level, with an excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and the development of Pre-school children, as you will play a lead role in overseeing the curriculum planned for the Under 5’s.

A good understanding of customer service is essential for this role as you will be a pioint of contact for parents as well as staff.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education
  • Overseeing the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum across all age groups
  • With the manager to effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff
  • To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends specifically related to the relevant curriculum
  • To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
  • To implement an effective parent liaison programme, to be influential in developing strong links with parents.

You will ideally need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

  • NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Post-qualification experience and supervisory experience
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work deadlines
  • Knowledge and experience of OFSTED standards and EYFS
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities.

Daily Nanny

Notting Hill W11 – Fun, Confident, Happy, Proactive Daily Nanny Required For Sole/ Shared Charge Of A Girl aged 2 months. Monday – Friday, 8.00am- 3.00pm (4 Days) 10.00am – Late evening (1 Day). Mum will be returning to work in September and the hours will then be 8.00am – 6.00pm. (Mon – Fri) Start ASAP. £450 npw. After September £550 npw.

Friendly family are looking for a nanny who is confident at caring for a baby on a sole and shared charge basis. Mum is looking for a happy, flexible, smiley and loving nanny to care for her 2 month old daughter. Mum is currently at home and is looking for a nanny that is a team player, happy to muck in and will be pro-active with finding activities and classes. As mum is at home she does not currently require a nanny for 5 full days. One day per week the family require the nanny to start at 10.00am and stay late so that the parents can go out in the evening. When mum returns to work in September the role will then be 5 full days and the position will be sole charge. Any transport home will be fully reimbursed. The nanny will be required to do normal nanny duties, cooking healthy food and be organized and pro active.
